Senate District 10

→ In Aisha Wahab’s candidacy, you have someone who is ideologically aligned with working-class values, as well as sharp on policy. Throughout her life, she has gone from foster care, to Hayward City Councilmember. Through her advocacy, she has championed true affordable housing, and necessary tenant protections. Were she to be elected to SD 10, she would be the only renter in the Senate. She faces opposition from conservative candidate and Fremont Mayor, Lily Mei—and the corporations backing her. While Aisha is fighting for housing justice, environmental advocacy, labor rights, criminal justice reform, and more, corporate entities like the Association of Realtors, Uber, Chevron, the Apartment Association, and Phillip Morris are fighting to keep Aisha from fulfilling her campaign pledges.
