→ Through his leadership within the Richmond Progressive Alliance and with Richmond Rainbow Pride, and as a small business owner in Richmond, Jamin Pursell has already done work to invest in the community, and he’s just getting started. As candidate to represent CD 4, Jamin is getting behind proposals that benefit workers, renters, and families. His priorities include a local Green New Deal and just transition away from Chevron, supporting ongoing police budget reallocation to refund community services, and push for the thorough implementation of Measure U to ensure big corporations pay their fair share to fund city services. Additionally, he advocates for tenant protections, such as the need to have strong enforcement of rent control, and support for tenant unions.
