→ Rebecca Kaplan has repeatedly and consistently demonstrated who she is, and who she fights for. Her resume speaks to her qualifications. Her actions speak to her values. Kaplan has been a tenant’s rights attorney, director on the AC Transit Board, and Oakland’s at-large city councilmember. Kaplan has championed the vacant property tax, zero emission vehicle technology, and the decriminalization and regulation of cannabis. ACCE is proud to support Kaplan as she makes the transition from city council, to board of supervisors, in order to assume the post that Wilma Chan held with such care and dignity.
