→ Nikki Fortunato Bas has been one of ACCE’s strongest allies on Oakland City Council since she was initially elected in 2018. She has also been a strong advocate for working people outside of city hall though for over two decades, working with justice organizations alongside ACCE for a long time. When ACCE supported Moms 4 Housing to move into vacant corporate owned property to house homeless mothers and children in 2019, Nikki was there from the start to support. She helped lead the initial effort to pass the Tenant Opportunity to Purchase Act and has been a strong advocate for tenants rights since then. We strongly support Nikki Fortunato Bas and encourage all D2 residents to vote for her as their number one choice!
