→ In Oceanside, it’s important to have a council member that we can engage on the issues, and work towards solutions. In CD2, we have just that person with Daniel Dominguez, a former utility worker and head of his local union, who supports affordable housing development, as well as tenant protection policies, such as rent control, and right to counsel. Meanwhile, his opponent Richard Robinson is endorsed by the Oceanside Police Officers Association. There are currently too many Republicans serving on the Oceanside city council as it is, and not enough council members serving the best interest of the community.
