Hundreds of thousands of California renter households are still waiting to receive the rent relief money they were promised. Thousands of other renters have attempted to apply for the program and been unable to do so. And many of the tenants waiting for this money are facing sustained harassment by their landlords or have already been evicted through other means.

The longer that the crisis with the rent relief program continues, the more California renters will lose their homes and end up on the streets - contributing to a worsening homelessness crisis already gripping the state. We need take action NOW to ensure that the state's Emergency Rental Assistance Program (ERAP) is not just fully funded - we need to ensure that it works for all of us.

Cientos de miles de inquilinos todavía están esperando recibir la asistencia de renta que se les prometió. Y miles de inquilinos han intentado solicitar el programa y no han podido hacerlo.
