The new year marks a huge change to Los Angeles City's Rent Stabilization Ordinance. ACCE leaders and our allies won the first update to LARSO in 40 years! The city's annual rent increase cap just got cut in half from 8% to 4%, which will provide relief to thousands of Angelenos struggling to pay rent. This victory is thanks to more than a year of organizing, marching, direct actions, town halls and lobbying city Councilmembers. The new changes go into effect in February.
